One Piece has just been released and has already been confirmed as a great success for Netflix. The live action of the best-selling manga of the last decades has managed to conquer the critics, and is also managing to be a great success with the public, reaching even the most die-hard and loyal fans of the anime.

So, even though Netflix is quite special when it comes to renewals and cancellations, everything seems to indicate that One Piece will have a second season. We do not know when, how or in what form, but it makes sense that they are already preparing it… especially because there are many seasons to be released if they want to cover the original story.

The new arcs we will see in Netflix’s One Piece.

But what exactly will we see in the second season of Netflix’s One Piece? Following the arcs of the anime and seeing what the first season has covered, we could get a small idea of what will appear in this new batch of episodes. In fact, we already did an article explaining how many seasons One Piece should last, where we detailed what arcs would go into each one.

Drum and Arabasta

If all goes according to plan, season 2 of One Piece will have an even more powerful villain than the first: Crocodile. We have already seen thanks to Zoro’s presentation that Baroque Works, the mafia organization led by this pirate, is after him. And they’re sure to be angry after what he did to Mr.7… so no doubt they’ll be confronting him soon.

But that’s not all we will see. Following the anime, the most logical thing would be to think that we will see, first, the arrival of the team to the Grand Line. Then their passage through Whiskey Peak and Little Garden, finally a couple of episodes dedicated to Drum and, finally, one of the most mythical arcs of One Piece: Arabasta.

If this is true, in season 2 we will already meet Chopper and Robin, two more nakamas of the gang. And we will also see other emblematic characters such as Wapol or Vivi. Undoubtedly, what is coming for the live action is very, very striking.
