The 2024 Goya Awards have already taken place, and the mecca of Spanish cinema has decided that this was Juan Antonio Bayona’s year. The director of Society of Snow has won up to 12 statuettes with his film, but he was not the only winner of the night. Other films such as Robot Dreams or 20,000 Species of Bees also stood out in a spectacular night.

The award for best leading actor went to David Verdaguer, who in Saben aquell managed to portray comedian Eugenio in a formidable way. Something Is About to Happen
Malena Alterio, our beloved Belén from Aquí no hay quien viva, made it clear that her career is one of the most enviable in Spanish cinema by winning the Goya for Best Leading Actress. The film, Que nadie duerma, is a gem that can be found on Amazon Prime Video.
Close Your Eyes
With 11 other nominations, Close Your Eyes was the second on the preference list for the Goya Awards. Víctor Erice’s film finally won the award for best supporting actor for José Coronado, and undoubtedly made it clear that it is a unique film. It is available on Movistar Plus.
Love & Revolution
