Who is Gwenpool, the secret character of this Fortnite season, and why is she not what you expect

With the arrival of the Marvel universe to Fortnite, a character with a secret mission has also arrived, which may have you raise an eyebrow: Is it Gwen Stacy? Is it Deadpool? Is it a fusion of both? Madness and the fourth wall

Gwen Poole is a teenage girl fan of Marvel in our world who, somehow, ends up inside a comic book from which she cannot escape. And at first, it’s all fun: breaking the fourth wall, playing between panels, trying to figure out how to survive in a comic book world when you know exactly where you are, everyone’s secret identities, and the mechanisms of the script.

However, as The Unbelievable Gwenpool continued its path, Christopher Hastings made her increasingly self-conscious, but not in the style of Deadpool, but by elaborating thoughtful conclusions about her future, the future of the comic book industry, narrative, the pain of death and forgetfulness, the apparent tragedy of the comic book character.

Of course, other writers who came later set aside that more philosophical aspect and fully immersed themselves in the slapstick comedy that you will probably notice in Fortnite, with a character who has no connection to Wade Wilson or Gwen Stacy, beyond knowing them and knowing all their weaknesses.
