XPeng Motors is celebrating a significant milestone with the MONA M03 electric vehicle (EV) as it surpasses 100,000 units produced in just 216 days since its launch in July 2024.
With a starting price of $16,815, the MONA M03 is more than half the cost of a Tesla Model 3 in China, positioning it as an affordable option in the EV market.
The M03 was designed with AI-centric features and has quickly captivated consumers, racking up over 30,000 orders within the first 48 hours post-launch.

The production pace has been astonishing, with XPeng averaging over 2,000 orders per day and delivering at least 15,000 units in the past three months alone.
This impressive demand reflects not only the effectiveness of XPeng’s manufacturing capabilities but also the growing consumer appetite for electric sedans in the Chinese market. In fact, the MONA M03 accounted for over 50% of all BEV deliveries from XPeng in January and February 2025, solidifying its position in the EV landscape.
Looking ahead, XPeng foresees that the success of the MONA M03 will significantly influence its sales targets for 2025. In a move to capitalize on this momentum, the automaker is already accepting orders for a higher-end variant called the MONA M03 Max.
This version promises an impressive range of 685 kilometers (426 miles) and advanced autonomous driving technology, with deliveries expected to commence in May 2025.
The rapid production and strong sales of the MONA M03 underline XPeng’s ambition to establish itself as a leader among new Chinese EV manufacturers. As it continues to innovate and expand its offerings, the company seems well-positioned to meet the evolving demands of a competitive market.
