SC Visualizer is a free Chrome extension developed by Rowan McNitt. It is an audio-visualizer that enhances your SoundCloud listening experience by replacing the album artwork of the current song page with a captivating visualization.

If you're a SoundCloud user who enjoys having something visually engaging to accompany your favorite tunes, then SC Visualizer is the perfect extension for you. With just a click of a button, you can start the visualizer and watch as the music comes to life.

The extension is easy to use. Simply click on the puzzle piece icon to open your extensions, find SoundCloud Visualizer, and press the "Start Visualizer" button.

SC Visualizer offers additional customization options. You can stack visuals on top of each other, disable flashing in the background, and adjust the flash intensity to your preference.

However, there are a few known issues and details to be aware of. The extension currently only works on SoundCloud, but YouTube functionality is expected to be added soon. Additionally, the extension only remains active until a hard refresh or page change. It may take 1-3 seconds for the visuals to load on a new song page. Lastly, SC Visualizer does not work for song pages without album covers or with banner art.
