Evernote is good way to stay organized, as it provides high-quality diagramming features. I also appreciate that it has multiple levels or tiers of pricing - the free version does not really feel gimped or limited at all. There's really no downside to at least trying it. I don't know if I'd use it to take notes on everything, but it would be suitable for certain kinds of note-taking, for sure. More
