My daughter loves Minecraft games and I often play along with her. She normally uses a game console but I showed her the Mincraft Pocket Edition, that can be played on her iphone, with and without internet, and she was so excited to try it out. She loved it and it even kept her busy during times when there was no internet available. such as long drives where staying occupied is usually more difficult for the kids. More

My internet provider often have a connection problem and every time it happens, I had nothing to do that really makes me bored, but when I learned about this game, I installed it and its good that it can be played even without data or wifi. More

If you have a current smartphone with a capable graphic chip screaming to be used to its full potential to bring you great entertainment on the go on par with other devise such as the Sony PSP or Nintendo DS, Asphalt 8 is the game for you. I play a lot of games on my most current android phone (right now I have a galaxy S8), and I’ve got to say, this one would easily be on the top-5 list graphic-wise; however, great graphical output might also drain your battery very quickly, so I’d recommend bringing along a power bank for your phone. And you don't even need to be plugged into the internet at all to play the game, like most mobile games out there, making this a stable in my "time-killing" game folder when I'm stranded in a no-signal zone. More

Yes, I agree that this is a good game that does not need internet for iOS users like me. I always play this game whenever I am waiting for my mom at the grocery. The dev team had created this game smoothly for it to be played well even without a connection. More

This is a fun roguelike for iphone and Android. It does have an offline play mode, which is great for long airplane rides. It is a challenging game with elements of luck and skill, so it's definitely worth a download if you have the patience. More

One of my favorite iphone games I play when I'm not going to be connected to the Internet is Pocket Mortys. I love this game, I play it all the time (even when I have Internet). The fact that I don't have to worry about being connected when playing this fun game is a good bonus. More

Angry Birds is an all time fave and for good reason. Fun to just pick up and play and also awesome to try to master. The game runs as smooth as butter and it's always good for a quick game during downtime. I like some of the newer versions more but you have to love the original. More

Badland is the best free game without internet. It's beautifully designed, it's innovative and it's one of the few no wifi needed games for iphone.

I like the game itself but boy are there so many ads... My friend recommended I play the game and I can see why he's hooked but the ads are so distracting. The graphics are beautiful but the high quality drains by battery pretty quickly. This game is a mixed bag. More

The Escapists is a challenging game, it is not easy to escape from prison. It's a very deep game as well with a great deal to explore and learn. I truly enjoyed interacting with other inmates and guards and each has a running opinion of you. Beating down an inmate can have consequences later when you want to buy something from them, for example. It's also a well balanced role-playing game to some extent and has some compelling character development. You can hit the weights and treadmill and become the guy nobody wants a piece of. This will open up opportunities to do favors that take advantage of your muscle and even a path to force your way out of the joint. Another approach would be to work on intellect and patiently gather what you need for a stealthy escape. Heck, you can even eschew escape to become a prison power broker and build up a great deal of wealth and inventory. Fantastic game for the iPhone when you are away from internet connectivity. More

This is a good match for a game that can be played offline. It appears that it does not need to be connected to the internet to be played

Really cool expanded frogger-style game. Lots of characters to unlock and different environments to experience. Not a big fan of micro-transactions but I understand that they're pretty much the norm now. And it's cool that it can be played without internet.

It seems like a normal adaptation to the frogger game. It does have more 3d aspects. However it is still the same basic game.

Ah a game something I spent of my life doing, sigh that really sucks huh. Shadow Fight 2 can be played offline but the game is very limited on what you can do without an internet connection. While part of it is available offline you will mostly be playing against bots as you make your way thru the story mode and chapters. Tool me while it is an offline game in certain areas the game really shines if you have a internet connection thus for me this would not be a good iphone game without internet due to how much of the game is locked till you jump online. More
