The redesigned 2026 Genesis GV70 EV has officially launched in the U.S., bringing significant enhancements and enticing discounts of up to $14,000 on leases.
This luxury electric SUV features a refreshed design, improving both aesthetics and functionality. The new model showcases a revamped exterior, including a new Crest grille and upgraded headlights that incorporate MLA technology.
Inside, the GV70 EV boasts an expansive 27-inch screen that combines the infotainment and driver displays, while new climate control functionality is managed through a separate screen.
Enhanced Range and Tech Features Highlight the All-New Genesis GV70 EV
The vehicle is powered by an 84 kWh battery, offering an estimated driving range of up to 423 kilometers (263 miles), a notable improvement from the previous version’s 400 km (249 miles) capacity with a smaller battery. U.S. specifications suggest the new model may achieve closer to 250 miles, enhancing its appeal for potential buyers seeking long-distance capabilities.
Current leasing offers for the GV70 EV include a 24-month lease with up to $14,000 in cash discounts depending on the trim. The Standard trim features a more modest discount of $3,500, while the Advanced trim offers $5,250, leading up to the Prestige trim’s maximum discount.
However, this highly discounted Prestige model comes with a higher lease rate of 5.4%, contrasting greatly with the 0.1% offered for the Advanced trim. For those considering a 36-month lease, cash incentives drop to $500 and $3,250, respectively, for the Advanced and Prestige trims.
In comparison, the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 presents a more budget-friendly leasing option at $199 for 24 months, requiring a lower upfront payment of $3,999. Buyers should act quickly; these offers are set to expire soon, specifically on April 30. With these competitive leasing deals, both models pave the way for consumers to explore luxury electric driving while capitalizing on substantial savings.
