The next game in the Call of Duty series, developed by Treyarch, is expected to be Black Ops 7, with a planned release for 2025. The recent information leak suggests that the campaign mode will have a co-op focus for up to four players, set in an open world in the year 2035. This new installment will continue the narrative of Black Ops 2, reintroducing iconic characters like Woods and Mason.
A lot of information that will delight fans
Additionally, the Zombies mode of Black Ops 7 will feature an enhanced version of the Tranzit map, which will be the largest created to date and will include a difficulty control system. This new feature aims to expand the gaming experience, allowing players to explore the timelines of the original characters from the mode. It is important to mention that Treyarch had brought Richtofen back into the Zombies storyline for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but several years have passed without other characters like Dempsey, Nikolai, or Takeo appearing in the narrative.
Rumors also suggest that the multiplayer maps will feature a new futuristic Japanese environment, maintaining the omnimovement system and adding a new wall-running mechanic. The information comes from a study group organized by Activision to assess player interest in the upcoming game features. However, since the original post containing these details was removed, the information may change before its release.
Additionally, it is mentioned that the Carry Forward program, which allows the transfer of weapons and operators from previous deliveries, could return. Meanwhile, interest in the franchise remains high, especially with the recent releases that have included iconic characters like Jay and Silent Bob in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
