Agatha All Along dazzles with incredible premiere numbers on Disney Plus

Despite the fact that Marvel Studios was going through a somewhat complicated period after the events of recent years, which culminated in a sexual assault conviction by the actor of its new major villain (Jonathan Majors), it seems that, little by little, the studio is beginning to recover. Deadpool & Wolverine, the second highest-grossing movie of the year behind Inside Out 2, has shown that people still want to see more from Marvel. And their latest series has proven it once again.

Despite many criticizing it before its release for being “too gay” and other irrelevant reasons, Agatha All Along had a phenomenal debut on Disney Plus. As confirmed by Discussing Film, the series was watched by 9.3 million people in its first week. An impressive figure that neither The Penguin nor The Rings of Power can match.

Agatha All Along is a spin-off of WandaVision that focuses on Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), who has lost her powers after being trapped under Wanda Maximoff’s spell. Freed by a mysterious teenager known as “Teen,” Agatha embarks on a dangerous adventure to regain her magic.
