The score is based on combined results from multiple leading antivirus engines, for both binaries and publisher URLs.
Weighted Detection System
Each antivirus has a specific weight (major or minor), and the impact of a positive detection depends on that weight.
Publisher URL Scanning
Publisher domains and URLs are checked using specialised engines like Avira, BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, and Google SafeBrowsing.
Binary File Scanning
Installers and executables are analysed with multiple antivirus engines (AVG, Avast, McAfee, Microsoft, Symantec, etc.) to detect known threats.
