Android 13 gets its final beta version, the full release is next

Google has been steadily moving through different beta versions of Android 13 in the run-up to the new mobile operating system’s official release. The beta test schedule allows the search giant to test out experimental new features and iron out any bugs before sending it out to regular users. We can now tell you that Google has just pushed out the final beta version of Android 13 meaning that the next release will be the general rollout of the operating system.

Google has announced that Android 13 beta 4 is now available for beta users on Pixel devices or other select devices. The beta 4 version is fairly well developed with Google saying that we are just a few weeks away from the official release of Android 13 and that the team is applying and testing the final touches with this final beta version.

We have already brought you details of what to expect in Android 13. Including Google Wallet, improved customization options, tablet optimization, better accessibility features, and more. Google has released further details of upcoming features in the post for the beta 4 version, saying:

“There’s a lot to explore in Android 13, from privacy features like the new notification permission and photo picker, to productivity features like themed app icons and per-app language support, as well as modern standards like HDR video, Bluetooth LE Audio, and MIDI 2.0 over USB.”

You can sign up for the beta version using the links we provided above. As this is a fairly well-advanced beta version too, there is a good chance you’ll be able to try it out without too many problems. If you are not an advanced user, however, we would recommend just waiting a few weeks until Google starts pushing out the full operating system to all users. We are still expecting it to drop sometime towards the end of the summer/beginning of fall.
