Today it is clear that Apple TV+ has become the home of science fiction. The streaming platform boasts series such as Foundation, Invasion, Monarch, or Silo; big bets on sci-fi that make it clear that few companies touch the genre like this one. But these series are just the tip of the iceberg of what they intend to achieve.
Apple TV+ has just released the trailer for Constellation, its new science fiction series that is being marketed as a gripping space thriller. The first season will premiere on February 21st on the streaming platform with its first three episodes, and the rest will be released weekly until March 27th, when all eight episodes of this first batch will be available.
A new series for science fiction fans
Behind the series is Peter Harness, the screenwriter behind the latest adaptation of The War of the Worlds, produced this time by the BBC for its channel. In addition, the cast includes Noomi Rapace, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukora, and Davina Coleman.
