Embark Studios has reaffirmed its commitment to the evolution of PVE and enemy behavior in its game Arc Raiders through recent updates. One of the most significant changes has been the fix of a bug that prevented the rocket launcher, a flying drone that launches missiles, from firing at its target despite having it in sight. This adjustment has transformed the rocket launcher, previously considered a less dangerous enemy, into a more formidable and accurate threat.

The gaming community has welcomed this improvement, as many had been taking advantage of the rocket’s leniency to farm indiscriminately. Some users believe that the previous situation was too lenient, while others expressed similar sentiments, creating an echo among players who support a reconsideration of their behavior. However, not everyone is completely happy; some players have expressed their desire for a reduction in the time it takes to detect characters, suggesting that there is still work to be done in balancing the game.
It is important to highlight that, although the rocket launcher now presents a more aggressive performance, this change is a result of Embark Studios’ efforts to adjust and improve the game once problems are identified. This means that, although enemies are not able to learn during matches, they can be adapted by the development team to provide a more balanced gaming experience.
With this focus on the continuous improvement of the PVE and enemies, Embark Studios shows that it is attentive to the needs and concerns of its community, which could be an indication of future updates aimed at maintaining a fair balance in the game.
