At OpenAI, they want to end the Internet as we know it and now they are launching their own browser

OpenAI has announced the launch of its first web browser, called ChatGPT Atlas, which is currently available exclusively for macOS users. This new software incorporates all the features one would expect from an AI-powered browser, allowing users to browse web pages while interacting with ChatGPT in a sidebar.

ChatGPT, known for never failing…!

One of the most surprising features of Atlas is that its search functions are powered by Google and not by Microsoft Bing, despite the initial partnership between OpenAI and the latter, which has been one of its main investors. When performing searches within ChatGPT Atlas, users will receive ChatGPT-style responses, complemented by vertical search tabs at the top that direct to different types of content, such as web, images, videos, and news. Each results section includes a direct link to Google.

Mac users who wish to download ChatGPTAtlas can do so through chatgpt.com/atlas. The installation process is simple: after downloading the file, they just need to double-click the installer and drag the application to their applications folder. Atlas will be available worldwide for all user plans, including Free, Plus, Pro, and Go, with versions for Windows, iOS, and Android to be released soon.

Through Atlas, users will not only browse the web, but they will also be able to consult ChatGPT about various tasks, including content rewriting, personalization, and shopping assistance. Additionally, the application offers memory and personalization features, enriching the browsing experience.

With this launch, OpenAI continues to expand its presence in the tech market, offering new tools that promise to facilitate user interaction with the web through the power of artificial intelligence.
