Beeper Mini, the service that allows you to connect iMessage with Android devices, has expressed its annoyance at the problem that many users are experiencing with the iMessage service, which could be deliberately being harmed by Apple, in a display of anti-competitive power.
The company behind the service claims to be working to solve the existing problems, and if Apple finally doesn’t give in, they would not hesitate to take the bitten apple to court for hindering a third-party service from connecting qualitatively with the service that iMessage offers to Apple users.
Something is wrong with Beeper Mini
For several days, it was known Apple’s intention to deactivate Beeper Mini, a service that allows Android users to contact Apple users through iMessage. However, the situation could escalate, as Beeper accuses Apple of causing issues in the service quality so that a certain percentage of sent messages fail to reach their recipient.
However, through social media, the official Beeper account has not hesitated to offer a quick solution: uninstalling and reinstalling the application, these problems, supposedly artificially generated by Apple, would disappear instantly. Eric Migicovski, one of the founders of Beeper, does not rule out openly suing Apple, stating that Epic Games recently won a lawsuit against Google, another one of the most powerful technology companies on the planet.

iMessage and its incompatibilities
iMessage is a widely used service by Apple users, but it is quite closed in terms of compatibility. In fact, Google has insisted on several occasions that Apple apply the RCS protocol to its messaging service to adapt to current times and allow Android devices to communicate more efficiently through iMessage. However, despite the fact that third-party applications have also been experiencing serious problems for years, they have not accepted it until a few weeks ago.
One of the applications that came to try to fill this gap was Nothing Chats, but in recent weeks it was forced to withdraw due to serious privacy violations both in the encryption of sent messages and in the storage of content on their servers. Beeper Mini came to offer itself as the ideal service, but, as can be seen, they are also having problems offering the 100% optimal service they wanted to carry out.
