It’s been a long time coming since the world came to a standstill in 2019 to see the release of Avengers: Endgame, the film that concluded Marvel Studios’ Infinity saga and brought an end to the story of the mad titan Thanos. Since then, we’ve been treated to several Marvel Studios movies and series, but none have had the reception of this feature film.

However, that could all change with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. James Gunn, recently signed by DC Studios to completely retool their universe, will bring the Guardians story to an end in his final feature film at Marvel, and he will do so with a film that, from what early reviews say, lives up to the old Marvel.

A finale at the height of the saga

The first reactions from those who have seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are incredible. Not only do they say that it is the best film of the saga -something that was already a big challenge, since it is about two great feature films- but they also say that it is the best Marvel Studios film since Avengers: Endgame.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a brilliant ending to a brilliant trilogy. It’s very funny, emotional and everyone gets their standout moment. Will Poulter’s Warlock is an excellent addition, but the focus is on telling a satisfying ending for the Guardians. I’m going to miss them.

Our favorite gang of misfits is back for the ultimate intergalactic adventure that delivers on all its promises. A great show, an emotional elevator that goes straight to the heart, a unique soundtrack and a touch of humor that makes us smile…
