With Halloween just around the corner, Apple TV+ compensates for being the streaming platform with the least horror content by offering a series that aligns closely with suspense. On October 30, just before the most terrifying night of the year, the platform will release You Would Do It Too, a Spanish thriller of eight episodes that promises to keep us on the edge of our seats with all kinds of unexpected twists and an intriguing story.

A little suspense to balance so much terror

The series begins with an armed robbery on a bus that connects Barcelona airport with Manresa, an incident that ends with the death of three robbers and the escape of a mysterious passenger. Six witnesses of the assault provide contradictory testimonies to the police, complicating the investigation and sowing doubts about what really happened.

The detectives in charge of the case, Fran Garza (Pablo Molinero) and Rebeca Quirós (Ana Polvorosa), who also have a romantic past, must uncover the truth before it’s too late. But the case goes viral on social media, where the fugitive is nicknamed “The Vigilante,” sparking an intense public debate about the fine line between good and evil.

David Victori, known for his work on Sky Rojo, and Jordi Vallejo, screenwriter of the Netflix series The Innocent, are the creators and writers of this production. Victori also directs the series, which has been produced by Legendary Television in collaboration with the Spanish production company Espotlight. The cast includes high-level actors such as Michelle Jenner (Isabel), José Manuel Poga (Money Heist), and Paco Tous (Paco’s Men).
