On October 20, one of the most beloved and celebrated animated movies of the year lands on Netflix. Kung Fu Panda 4, the fourth installment of Po’s adventures, the Dragon Warrior, arrives on the streaming platform to delight the little ones (and not so little ones). The downside is that the other three parts need to be found on different platforms, although the original Kung Fu Panda series is also available on Netflix.

The film grossed 549 million dollars worldwide, exceeding expectations and confirming the affection that both children and adults continue to have for this iconic panda. Despite competing with other major releases, Kung Fu Panda 4 demonstrated its drawing power and managed to remain at the top of the box office for weeks.
A very unusual Kung Fu Master
In the fourth part of Kung Fu Panda, Po faces a new phase of his life: he has been named Master and is forced to take on responsibilities he never imagined. Thus, the panda will have to train the next generation of kung fu warriors, all while facing a new threat that endangers the Valley of Peace and all his loved ones.
This new movie brings a fresh perspective to Po’s story. While in the previous ones we saw his rise as the Dragon Warrior and the responsibilities that came with it, this time we find a more mature Po who must face another series of challenges while protecting his loved ones and questioning if he is ready for that role. Undoubtedly, it is a very interesting saga that Dreamworks has been developing slowly.
