Disney always knows how to find its way. No matter how many times it seems they fall behind, they always find a way to get back to the forefront of the audiovisual industry. It’s not that they are visionaries as much as they know how to adapt very well to the movements of the industry. And it seems they are willing to do the same in the video game industry. Particularly in the video game industry.
We talk about this because Disney Pixel RPG already has a release date. If you don’t know it, this is a free-to-play pixel art style RPG produced by GungHo Online Entertainment that will allow us to embody our favorite characters from all eras of Disney. With a gacha component, we will have to face numerous villains to save the different worlds of their protagonists. Very much in the style of Kingdom Hearts, although less convoluted.
With over 600,000 pre-registered users, the game is well on its way to being a huge success. And having announced that it will support English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Korean, and Chinese, it seems they are ready to take the world by storm.
Disney Pixel RPG will be released for iOS through the App Store and on Android via Google Play on October 7. So if you’re interested in experiencing the pixelated adventures of your favorite childhood characters, there’s still time to sign up for the preregistration to enjoy this magical journey.
