The new trailer for Dragon Ball: Daima has just arrived by surprise to make it clear that the series can be much more than a simple curiosity or footnote in a franchise that continues to grow. The trailer not only shows Goku and his friends in their new child versions, but also reveals the reintroduction of the magic staff and anticipates new fights that bring back the fiercest Goku.

In addition, it has been revealed that the project was entirely written by Akira Toriyama before his death in March 2024, so it promises to be faithful to the original spirit that characterized Goku’s early adventures. We know that everyone will become children again, which was initially a big shock to the audience, but the plot seems to be more complex than it appears.

Beyond Dragon Ball Super

The premiere of Dragon Ball: Daima is scheduled for October 11, 2024, coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated video game Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. With the series ready for broadcast in Japan, and the promise of carefully crafted content, this new installment seems destined to expand and pay a significant tribute to Toriyama’s legacy, especially in the context of the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Undoubtedly, Dragon Ball: Daima could be one of the most pleasant surprises of the year for fans of this unforgettable saga.
