FromSoftware is really treating fans of Elden Ring by making the soundtrack available for streaming. If you use Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, or Amazon Music, you’ll hear the stunning sounds of the Budapest Film Orchestra. There are 67 songs on the playlist, and listening to them while writing this news is an utterly beautiful experience.
PlayStation announced the online release of the Elden Ring soundtrack in its latest blog post. With it, there’s an interview with Tsukasa Saito, the composer and lead sound designer for the soundtrack. While you may have put all of your focus on killing mythical beasts and slaying monsters, the songs were what spurred you on in the background.
Here you can look behind the scenes into the making of the Elden Ring OST.
One of Saito’s chief concerns was steering away from similar themes in Bloodbourne or the Dark Souls series. The sounds needed to simulate an epic tale, sending you on a magical journey you will never forget. Also, he wanted to capture the essence of resilience and composure to fortify you for battle.
Another interesting part of the Elden Ring interview is where he discussed Redmane Castle and what we thought were the haunting voices of people singing. Surprisingly, the Budapest Film Orchestra used the brass section for that piece of music. It consisted of trumpet, tuba, and trombone players working together for that thrilling sound.

Now that you have the Elden Ring soundtrack, you can go back and relive some adventures in your mind. Close your eyes as the music takes you back to the epic battles you recall from when you slayed the bosses. As long as images of the naked hero who helped players defeat Malenia don’t appear, you should enjoy the experience.
