Epic Games has revealed the long-awaited return of Fortnitemares, the Halloween-themed Fortnite event, and it’s filled with exciting new features. As the game’s live service concept keeps players interested, this scary extravaganza offers a combination of new content, skins, and challenges.
Fortnitemares has become an annual event, anxiously anticipated by fans. It’s that time of year when the game gets spooky, releasing new weaponry, skins, and game types. In the action-packed Horde Rush, players band together to face Cube Monsters. Every year, Fortnitemares surprises and delights gamers, and this year is no exception.
Fortnitemares 2023: Spooky skins and more
Epic Games made a big splash with the introduction of Fortnitemares 2023. This year, classic characters such as Alan Wake, Michael Myers, and Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will join the Fortnite realm. As an extra bonus, players may obtain emotes, back bling, and gliders that correspond to these well-known characters. The Shop will contain both new clothes and the return of popular Fortnitemares outfits such as Seth, Bogstick, Phantom Meowscles, and Festival Phaedra.
Weapons and quests
What is a Halloween celebration without some goodies and tricks? The Pumpkin Launcher, Witch Broom, and the delectable Sanguine Sweets (Candy Corn, Pepper Mints, Hop Drops, and Jelly Beans) return in Fortnitemares. In addition, new equipment such as Thorne’s Vampiric Blade and the Wood Stake Shotgun have been included. Players may also participate in Horde Rush and Fortnitemares missions, each with its own set of prizes for completing 5, 15, and 25 tasks, such as Back Blings, Icons, Emotes, Wraps, and more.
This Christmas event is timed to coincide with a minor price hike for Fortnite’s premium currency, V-bucks. This change is set to take place on October 27th, right in the middle of Fortnitemares. Players who wish to take advantage of some of the new seasonal promotions should move swiftly to get V-bucks at the present pricing.
The Fortnitemares 2023 Quests add to the event’s excitement. Completing these tasks not only grants you XP but also unlocks a variety of creepy Locker goods like as the Bat Royale Back Bling, Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, Hypno-Bat Spray, Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track. These tasks will be released in phases throughout the Fortnitemares event, allowing players lots of chances to participate.
Horde Rush is back
Horde Rush, a limited-time team-based adventure, is back by popular demand. This time, players will battle Cube Monster swarms in several locales, with the ultimate aim of surviving until they encounter the Final Boss. They’ll rack up combos and score multipliers as they combat these powerful adversaries, offering an added element of excitement. Horde Rush will be accessible for the duration of the event.
Horde Rush has its own set of tasks that players may perform while playing Fortnitemares. These tasks not only reward XP but also reveal interesting Locker goods such as The Murk Wrap, Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon, and Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe. These challenges will put players’ talents to the test in a variety of ways, ranging from nailing Cube Monster headshots to collecting point multipliers.

Fortnitemares 2023 has a new set of clothes. In addition to the previously named characters, players may expect to see the wrapped rapscallion Seth, muckfish Bogstick, meownstrosity Phantom Meowscles, and the intriguing Festival Phaedra. But there’s still more fun to come! The notorious Michael Myers Outfit will also be available in the Item Shop, and Disney’s Jack Skellington will be joining the roster with a whole array of items. Last but not least, best-selling novelist Alan Wake will be making his Fortnite debut soon, so keep a lookout for him.
