Garena Free Fire has just announced a brand-new collaboration. This time, with Devil May Cry 5. This new initiative will see two of the most well-known and widely-played gaming franchises in one incredible and undoubtedly exciting collision.

Free Fire has spent years adapting and furthering its unique aesthetic and canon. However, the game has always been dedicated to providing players with fresh experiences and a host of other aesthetics and characters to enjoy, and the way that it achieves that goal is through unique collaborations.

Collaborations are, thus, nothing new to Free Fire. The game has collaborated with celebrities, brands, and other well-known names in the past to keep its playerbase on its toes. Every collaboration brings brand-new themed events, skins, outfits, in-game items, and more rewards than players know what to do with. Another exciting collaboration in the works will see BTS making an appearance in the game. Other names that have already burst into Garena Free Fire include Squid Game, Snoop Dogg, and Assassins Creed.

Free Fire teams up with Devil May Cry 5

As we established previously, Devil May Cry is one of the most well-known and widely-played franchises in the industry. This game comes complete with its own loyal fanbase, death-defying gameplay, and intriguing characters. However, even outside of the gaming industry, the game has made quite the name for itself due to its jaw-dropping visuals. A collaboration between them means that players will soon get to experience both the polished, vibrant graphics of Garena Free Fire and the more grungy, devil-may-care aesthetics of Devil May Cry 5.

The new collaboration will drop in February, and it’ll bring all your favorite Devil May Cry 5 characters into the jam-packed action of Free Fire. As has been the expectation with all previous collaborations, this one will also include exciting new skins for your characters to equip, as well weapons, emotes, and a whole slew of other exciting additions.

We have yet to receive an official date upon which the collaboration will be live, but given the vast difference between these two games, we’re incredibly excited to see what the resulting collab will look like. We’ll keep you abreast of any new information we receive.

I hail from the awe-inspiring beauty of South Africa. Born and raised in Pretoria, I've always had a deep interest in local history, particularly conflicts, architecture, and our country's rich past of being a plaything for European aristocracy. 'Tis an attempt at humor. My interest in history has since translated into hours at a time researching everything from the many reasons the Titanic sank (really, it's a wonder she ever left Belfast) to why Minecraft is such a feat of human technological accomplishment. I am an avid video gamer (Sims 4 definitely counts as video gaming, I checked) and particularly enjoy playing the part of a relatively benign overlord in Minecraft. I enjoy the diverse experiences gaming offers the player. Within the space of a few hours, a player can go from having a career as an interior decorator in Sims, to training as an archer under Niruin in Skyrim. I believe video games have so much more to teach humanity about community, kindness, and loyalty, and I enjoy the opportunity to bring concepts of the like into literary pieces.
