One of the aspects that has been most criticized about Google is, precisely, that the size of its Pixel Watch, both the first and second models, is smaller than that of the competition, something that puts them behind in that important aspect for many users. And it is that, the 47mm of watches like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are far from the 41mm of the Pixel Watch.
Two possible sizes for the Pixel Watch 3
Taking into account that smartwatch screens must already be designed in a reduced size, many users dislike that Google makes their smartwatch screens smaller than those of other competing wearables, currently with a diameter of 41 millimeters. That is why, as pointed out by 9to5Google, the company plans to release two different sizes for the Pixel Watch 3.
It is not known exactly what those sizes will be, but the mere idea of there being two will allow each user to choose the dimensions they feel most comfortable with. Many users will opt for the largest possible screen, but other people may prefer a watch with a smaller and more discreet screen, just like the current Pixel Watch.
A section on template cuts
It is evident that Google is trying to make changes in its development area in the watch segment if you take into account that the company has recently carried out massive layoffs, and this area has been one of the affected by staff cuts. However, it seems that Google wants to continue trying to improve its business in this space, and for this reason it would be in charge of launching two different-sized versions in its future Pixel Watch 3.
It would also be necessary to see if Google decides to improve the after-sales service, since it was learned that the company is not responsible if its screen breaks. In fact, it is a problem that affects many users, since the dome design, without proper physical borders, prioritized aesthetic sense over practicality, making it more prone to scratches, cracks, and breakages.
