This end of the year is all about Rockstar and their franchise Grand Theft Auto. Because if it’s not GTA V, it’s GTA 6, the thing is that we are always talking about GTA and for good reason. It’s not every day that the gaming industry releases a game that reaches 200 million units sold.

Grand Theft Auto V DOWNLOAD

After the leak of the game’s source code, people have been investigating to find new information about the game. That’s why we now know that there were DLCs and expansions that we never got to know.

According to Twitter user @Budzcario, the source code includes compatibility with the Nintendo Switch platform, suggesting that a port is being prepared.

A possibility that we can believe

In recent times, Rockstar Games has supported Nintendo Switch with ports of their older titles, such as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, so a port of Grand Theft Auto V would not be surprising, considering that the game originally came out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, just like Red Dead Redemption.

Although a port of Grand Theft Auto V for Nintendo Switch has not been confirmed yet, we do know that Rockstar Games is working on the next installment of the saga.

The game will be released at some point in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and who knows, maybe Rockstar Games will be able to work their magic to bring GTA 6 to the successor of Nintendo Switch as well.

Recently, the Grand Theft Auto trilogy arrived on mobile thanks to Netflix. The three titles landed on iOS and Android and analysts say they look great on mobile systems, so it is possible to bring GTA 5 (which is much more graphically demanding) to Nintendo Switch as long as the port is well done and polished.
