If you have a Galaxy S25, we have bad news for you

Samsung has confirmed that the next Galaxy S25 will hit the market with the new software version One UI 7, which promises to incorporate artificial intelligence features and a redesigned camera interface.

This update is not limited to new devices, as the Galaxy S24 will also receive One UI 7, although users will have to prepare for a long wait. According to leaker Tarun Vats, Samsung plans to conduct up to six betas of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 before releasing the final version.

Currently, the third beta is already available, and the fourth beta is expected to be released next week. However, the following testing phases will not take place until March and April, suggesting that the final version of One UI 7 may not be ready until May.

One UI 7 would arrive with AI

This situation has generated some concern among Galaxy S24 users, who might receive the update just when the release of Android 16 is expected, which could make Android 15, on which One UI 7 is based, feel outdated quickly.

The implementation of One UI 7 includes new features powered by artificial intelligence, although not all the features present in the Galaxy S25 will be available in the version for the Galaxy S24. Users can expect notable improvements in the user experience, including a new home screen and an enhanced camera interface.

As always, with information coming from leaks, it is advisable to take these announcements with some caution. Although sources like @UniverseIce have corroborated the validity of these timelines, the waiting time for the update may change depending on Samsung’s decisions.
