With Gamescom just around the corner, it’s only natural for all kinds of leaks to start happening. Many studios are going to leverage this time to make announcements about new games, but more importantly, to provide fresh details about known games they want to emphasize more than before. Hence the leaks, because the more information circulates, the more likely that a certain amount of it will end up coming out ahead of schedule.

Once again, thanks to Billbil-kun, we’ve learned ahead of time about the release date of a game that turned out to be closer than expected: Ghostrunner 2. As a result, the Epic Games Store has already released all the available information.

Ghostrunner 2 is set to be released on October 26th and will have three different editions. The Basic Edition, available in both physical and digital versions, will include the game and the Traditional Katana Pack — featuring two sword skins and two hand skins — for a price of €39.99. The Deluxe Edition, available only in digital format, includes everything from the previous edition, along with four hand skins, four sword skins, and a personalized hand hologram with your username, priced at €49.99. The Brutal Edition, also exclusively digital, encompasses everything from the previous editions, adding the Season Pass — valued at €19.99, including a new game mode, four material packs, animated skins, and a motorcycle skin — as well as 48 hours of early access to the game, all for the price of €69.99.

For those unfamiliar, Ghostrunner is an FPS with platforming elements that puts players in the role of a cyborg ninja. Set in a dystopian future, the game follows the ninja’s journey to combat an evil organization by utilizing two primary tools: the ability to leap between buildings and engage in intense katana combat. This sequel promises to expand its gameplay, incorporating motorcycle driving segments as well. Hopefully, the motorcycle won’t face any leaks like the game’s release announcement has.
