As much as everything is now united and the Multiverse has made everything possible, the truth is that, until recently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was somewhat chaotic. Marvel Studios‘ films were born with the intention of creating a shared universe like in the comics, but from the beginning, they faced obstacles because they sold the rights to many of their characters, and they couldn’t include them for years.

This is the case of Hulk, a character that was sold to Universal in the past, and Marvel Studios has never been able to make standalone movies featuring him —although they have used him in Avengers, etc.—. That’s why, until this week, Disney hadn’t been able to add The Incredible Hulk to its streaming platform.

No Way Home is not available on Disney Plus

Since June 16th, it’s now possible to watch The Incredible Hulk on Disney Plus. The movie has little connection to the current MCU, as even the actor (Edward Norton) was later replaced by Mark Ruffalo in The Avengers. However, being the second film in the universe after Iron Man, it’s worth watching for that reason alone.

However, The Incredible Hulk is not the only movie missing from Disney Plus in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are two others that are still not available to watch on the platform, and you’ll have to go elsewhere to check them out: Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

While Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is part of the MCU, Marvel Studios doesn’t own the film rights to the character, as they were sold to Sony in the ’90s. Recently, the studios reached an agreement to stream several Spider-Man movies on Disney Plus, including the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man, Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, and even Tom Hardy’s Venom.

However, the mentioned movies have agreements with other platforms, and until these agreements expire, they cannot be streamed on Disney Plus. The same applies to movies like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Morbius.
