Finally, the most important ceremony in the global film industry arrives. The Oscars will be held on March 12th, and as usual, with just over a month to go, the nominated films have been announced. Among them, Oppenheimer and Poor Things stand out above all and seem to lead the battle for the best picture alongside others like Barbie.

There are other big surprises on the list, and although the competition seems to be between Christopher Nolan’s film and Yorgos Lanthimos’s, there might be unexpected contenders like Anatomy of a Fall or even Barbie. Additionally, there’s room for two Spanish films: Robot Dreams and Society of the Snow. In any case, here is the complete list of nominations.
