Everyone is talking about ‘Spider-Man 2,’ the video game for PS5 that brings Peter Parker and Miles Morales together, saving New York while being friends and neighbors, as always. However, in another universe, they’re going through some tough times: if you read the comic book panels, you’ll know that Peter Parker lost Mary Jane (forever?), and he even became the Black Goblin after accidentally injecting himself with the sins of Norman Osborn. And his partner? Well, it’s not so easy to explain.

Spider-Man, vampire hunter

Crossovers in Marvel are a common occurrence, something that happens every few months to capture the audience’s attention in one way or another. However, the truth is that, of late, they haven’t managed to be all that interesting. That’s what’s happening with ‘Blood Hunt,’ a 2024 event that will bring together the Avengers, Blade, and Miles Morales to fight against the vampire clan now residing in – believe it or not – Chernobyl.

There’s still some time left before the upcoming battle, but in the meantime, Miles has received a new suit from none other than Blade. And not just any suit but a vampire hunter suit with an integrated cape and, as a result, magical powers. Yes, that’s right. Spider-Man’s webs will now have holy water, enchantments, and that sort of thing. The same goes for the venom strike. And most importantly, no, it’s not a symbiote. At least, we hope it’s not.

By the way, in case you only know the character from his wonderful animated movies, it’s worth noting that no, he’s not dating Spider-Gwen. It seemed like it, but things took a different turn at the last moment. Not with Kamala Khan either, or… well, let’s just say that Miles Morales is a better superhero than a ladies’ man. Well, he’s underage, he still has time to learn from Peter Park… well, on second thought, maybe he shouldn’t learn from anyone. Just in case.
