Although few details are known about the protagonists and the game’s settings, Gearbox has emphasized that their goal is to evolve the looter-shooter genre and reaffirm their position as pioneers in the industry. The Texas team, led by Randy Pitchford, has promised to share more information in the coming months, including the much-anticipated release date, which remains a mystery but is expected to be before the end of the year.
