N26 launches one of the highest-interest savings accounts available today

In a surprising move, N26 has introduced a savings account with an interest rate of 2.79%, making it one of the most competitive options on the market. At a time when most digital banks are lowering their interest rates due to recent cuts by the European Central Bank (ECB), N26 has taken a different approach to attract new customers.

A savings account designed exclusively for new customers

This new high-yield savings account is available only to new customers who sign up with N26 starting today. Additionally, to activate the account and benefit from the high interest rate, users must link their Bizum account to N26, although there is no requirement to use the service a minimum number of times.

N26 has also set a maximum balance of €50,000 eligible for interest payments, ensuring that customers can earn a steady return without taking any financial risks. Compared to other digital banks, such as Revolut, which requires a premium subscription to offer similar rates, N26 provides a clear advantage by eliminating additional fees.

Full access to funds and deposit protection

One of the biggest advantages of this savings account is that funds remain fully accessible at all times, meaning customers can withdraw their money whenever they need it without any penalties. Moreover, deposits are insured up to €100,000 by the German Deposit Protection Scheme, adding an extra layer of security for account holders.

By launching this new account, N26 positions itself as a leader in the digital banking sector, offering a risk-free savings solution with a competitive return rate.
