Netflix is a great window of proposals, from high-quality series to movies that would have been better off not being released. In the fantasy genre is where, especially, critics are divided, with releases like Damsel, which despite having its audience, does not convince everyone completely.

This is exactly what happens with the latest saga that Netflix has added to its platform: Twilight. The movies based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels, released between 2008 and 2012, have just been included in the platform… to the delight of fans who grew up with their story while having to endure the criticism of the rest of the world.

A saga that deserves a second chance

I won’t be the one defending Twilight at this point, but while it has many red flags that make it a rather strange saga, it also has great scenes and moments of lucidity in its movies that make it worth taking another look. After all, it’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who are the protagonists… it can’t be that bad.
