Since its release in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has managed to remain one of the most popular RPGs of all time. The key to its longevity lies in its vibrant modding community, which has continued to expand and enhance the gaming experience over the years.
New weapons and hard-weapons
Among the numerous contributions from modders, the free mod called Thalmor Ceykynd Armors, created by PrincessAries and AriesThe_Ram, stands out. This mod adds a series of new elements to the game, including armors, weapons, and enemies inspired by the Thalmor, one of the most infamous factions in Tamriel. The mod is available for download through Nexusmods, where players can also find instructions on how to install it.
The armor and its variants are comparable to those made of ebony, and the new weapons offer slightly higher critical damage than their ebony counterparts. Players will be able to find these pieces in the list of Thalmor soldier enemies or craft them using the Ebony Smithing perk. Additionally, new loading screens are included that enrich the visual experience of the game.
A notable feature of this mod is its availability not only on PC but also on the Xbox version of Skyrim, thanks to Bethesda’s support through its Creation Club. This allows a larger number of players to access additional content without having to wait for future official game updates.
Skyrim is still available on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and it also has access to Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost. As the community continues to produce new content, it seems that Skyrim’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down.
