Weapons is the next project of Zach Cregger, director of one of the films that made the most noise last year in the United States: Barbarian. Weapons is a project that New Line Cinema bought two months ago for 38 million dollars, including the budget. After a bidding process in which Jordan Peele and his production company also participated, New Line finally won the deal. Of that $38 million, $5 million will go directly to Cregger as director, plus another $5 million as producer and screenwriter. We do not know what Pascal will charge, but it should not be far from these figures.
