The Emmy Awards are the most prestigious annual accolades in the American television industry. Surpassing the Golden Globes, they serve as the ultimate seal of recognition for a TV series to be considered one of the best of the year. Despite being in the midst of a major strike by writers and actors, this season’s nominations have already been announced.

HBO Max DOWNLOAD

HBO Max, as usual in these awards, takes the lead with the highest number of nominations. The series Succession holds the annual record with 27 nominations, followed by The Last of Us with 24 and The White Lotus with 23. Next up is Ted Lasso from Apple TV+ with 21 nominations. However, there have also been many surprises.

Series that no one expected, like Obi-Wan Kenobi, have managed to make their way among the nominees. And other series that were expected to go much further, like Better Call Saul, haven’t dominated the categories.
