While “Money Heist” was an incredible success in its time and “Elite” has already reached seven seasons, all Spaniards agree on having a symbol of Netflix that goes far beyond these series: Paquita Salas. The series starring Brays Efe was an unprecedented success in portraying the Spanish film scene and catapulted the Javis to the top of the current television production.
Paquita Salas had 3 seasons between 2016 and 2019, and since then, we’ve been without our favorite manager. However, this could change soon. Belén Cuesta, the actress who plays Magüi in the series, has confirmed that they are working on a new season. Therefore, we will be seeing Paquita Salas again soon.

Belén Cuesta spills the beans
Belén Cuesta was asked about something that always comes up on these types of shows when someone who has been on Paquita Salas is there: will there be a second season? And, to everyone’s surprise, the actress answered positively, although she was not very clear about it.
“There will be another season of Paquita Salas,” she confirms literally. “I think it’s something we will do because it will also be a way of working that we find so beautiful,” she continues. She has also confirmed that “the Javis are eager,” and when talking about her character in the series, she couldn’t have been clearer:
“For me, it has been one of the most important characters of my career.” She has also talked about the memes that have been made about her lines in the series, which are not few. “I think it’s one of the most wonderful things that can happen to you in this profession, that suddenly one of your characters transcends like that.” Without a doubt, we all look forward to a new season of Paquita Salas, so we just have to wait and see when they decide to make it.
