This is significantly lower than the usual rate of 5.84%, hinting at the company’s efforts to boost sluggish sales of its electric pickup truck, which has faced challenges since its announcement.
Despite over 1 million reservations, production of the Cybertruck has fallen short of expectations, with estimates suggesting only 40,000 units will be sold this year—less than 10% of CEO Elon Musk’s ambitious goal of 500,000 units annually.
