With at least one year to go before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, the new installment of one of the most popular video game franchises worldwide, new information about the game that will turn the world upside down continues to emerge. The latest rumors about the game point to a series of features that will please Rockstar fans, including several mechanics and functions from the acclaimed Red Dead Redemption 2.

According to a well-known leaker’s Twitter, GTA 6 would incorporate several of the features that worked best in Red Dead Redemption 2, such as the Eagle Eye, an ability that the player could use to identify various objects and people in the world, and that in RDR 2 is very useful for tracking animals during hunting sessions.

With the scarce information we have about GTA VI, for now we don’t know if the game will include the possibility of hunting animals in Florida (like alligators). There are rumors that there will be a fishing minigame, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched to think that we could use this feature to make our task easier.

But that’s not all. In addition to the eagle eye, in GTA 6 we would also have the interaction system with NPCs from Red Dead Redemption 2, which in turn was a substantial improvement over the system already present in GTA 5. According to the leak, in GTA VI we would have some way to react to the game’s characters, but not much else is known about it.

However, as has been happening for several months, the data from this supposed leak are not official, so they should be taken with a grain of salt. Either way, it is most likely that in a few months we will start to learn more about the game, so we will have to be patient until then.
