Whether you haven’t seen it yet or you want to revisit it, below, we’ve compiled the best Easter eggs and references from the movie so you don’t miss anything. It’s undoubtedly perfect for taking another look at the film and not missing any details of Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket, and company’s latest adventure.

Several James Gunn-style cameos

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is filled with cameos from James Gunn‘s friends who are highly recognizable in Hollywood. The most prominent of them all is Nathan Fillion, the lead actor from Castle and Firefly. Fillion appears as Maestro Karja, having previously lent his voice in the first installment as the “Blue Alien Prisoner.”

Other actors making cameo appearances include Jennifer Holland, Gunn’s wife, who plays Administrator Kwol. As for voices, we have Linda Cardellini as Lylla, the space otter, and Judy Greer as Warthog.

Guardians of the Galaxy Card Game

At the beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we can spot several interesting references through the poker-style card game in which Kraglin (Sean Gunn) and Cosmo (Maria Bakalova) compete. It’s a custom card game of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and we can see characters like Howard the Duck and Lloyd Kaufman featured in it.

An ending with Kevin Bacon

The post-credits scene of the movie shows how the Guardians have taken separate paths, and in Peter Quill’s case, he decides to return to Earth. There, we see his grandfather reading a newspaper with the headline “Alien Abduction: Kevin Bacon spills the beans!”, a reference to the Guardians’ Holiday Special. It’s better to watch this episode to fully understand it all because it’s worth it.

The emergence of the original Guardians of the Galaxy

Although we saw them in the previous film as a brief cameo, in this new movie, we get a better look at the original lineup of the Guardians of the Galaxy comics. Led by Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, the group also includes Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex T’Naga, Michelle Yeoh as Aleta Ogord, Ving Rhames as Charlie-27, and Miley Cyrus as Mainframe.
