Netflix premieres today Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver, sequel to the film that arrived on December 22nd and tells the story of a colony on the outskirts of the galaxy that is threatened by an interstellar army. Directed by Zack Snyder, the first film was a success on Netflix, but a big box office failure, and it seems that the formula is being repeated.
The reviews for Rebel Moon 2 have already been released on Metacritic, and so far it has a predictable 38 out of 100. In other words, it fails miserably in reviews, although it remains to be seen how successful it is among the audience. It may be that, despite its pathetic quality, it becomes a great success on Netflix… and we have to endure more movies like this in the future.
