Sony has a problem with its Spider-Man universe without Spider-Man. The thing is, even though the Venom movies didn’t turn out too bad, they seem determined to do the same with all the hero’s villains they have rights to… and practically none of them are turning out well. Morbius was a disaster, Kraven has been delayed but seems to be following the same path… and Madame Web seems to be the last straw.

Now, finally, the first reactions to Madame Web have come out from people who have had access to its premiere. And, well, it’s not that it’s any surprise, but it seems that they are as bad as expected. Below are some of them… if you are really interested for some reason that I can’t understand.

First reviews of Madame Web

Below are some of the first reviews of Madame Web, collected by The Hollywood Reporter on their website:

“Morbius was better”.

“#MadameWeb is a shameful disaster. Talented stars wasted in probably the worst comic book movie I’ve ever seen. Full of atrocious dialogues, awkward editing, and a laughable structure. I sat there, bewildered, scene after scene. Someone approved this. Memes will redeem it.”

“MadameWeb is a clumsy, poorly written, disorganized and careless movie, filled with mediocre performances. Although it had solid cinematography and an interesting concept, it couldn’t be saved due to its terrible execution”.
