Fortnite always finds a way to surprise us. With a great emphasis lately on collaborations, it wouldn’t have surprised us if the new Fortnite season had embraced that aspect of the game. But no. The focus this time has shifted to a different and very interesting concept. Because Fortnite has become a mythical game.

Season 2 of Chapter 5 of Fortnite is called “Myths and Mortals” and, as the name suggests, it features characters from Greek mythology. With an in-game event that includes the appearance of Pandora’s Box, this season introduces new classic characters such as Zeus, Hades, Aphrodite, Medusa, and even a Slurp Juice version of Poseidon. All of this is to offer us the crazy experience that characterizes this game.

Of course, a new season wouldn’t be complete without new locations. In this case, Mount Olympus and the underworld have been included, protected by none other than the dog Cerberus. To add flavor to the mix, we can also find new power-ups, such as the Wings of Icarus, with which we can fly through the stage, and new weapons, such as Zeus’ lightning bolts, with which we can elevate ourselves in the air and fry our enemies with all the epicness we deserve.

All of this will come with a new battle pass, which will include Korra, the protagonist of the spinoff of Avatar: The Last Airbender, as the secret skin of the season. And to enjoy all of this, you won’t have to wait, as Season 2 of Chapter 5 of Fortnite has been released today. So don’t fly too close to the sun and jump in to play right away.
