Lawrence Sullivan, nicknamed “the Florida Joker,” has uploaded a new video where he demands money from Rockstar Games for allegedly using his likeness in the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI. In a video posted this week, Sullivan asks for an “extra million dollars” from the company while sporting a look resembling the character from the GTA 6 trailer, with purple hair and an orange prison jumpsuit.
Lawrence Sullivan criticized Rockstar Games through social media shortly after the release of the first GTA VI trailer. Dubbed the Florida Joker, he claims that one of the most distinctive characters in the game’s trailer bears a striking resemblance to him, pointing out the use of facial tattoos.
The character in question is the purple-haired prisoner with the word “IMPENTINENT” (“impertinent”) tattooed on the forehead, among other striking tattoos. Now, Sullivan is making another direct demand for a response from Rockstar Games, albeit with a significantly different appearance.
Sullivan has posted a TikTok video with new demands regarding the use of his likeness in the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Sporting a bright orange jumpsuit and purple-dyed hair, Sullivan requests one million dollars from Rockstar in a video accompanied by numerous hashtags.
In the video, the Florida Joker states that Rockstar Games hasn’t contacted him regarding the supposed use of his image, claiming he’s providing “free marketing” for Grand Theft Auto VI and even showcasing YouTube search results for “gta 6 joker.”
Following this, Sullivan instructs Rockstar Games to find someone else in Florida who resembles the purple-haired prisoner from the game’s trailer. He concludes with a legal threat, giving Rockstar “three days” to respond to his demands before his lawyers take action.
