Nintendo has announced that the new Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller will be released in June alongside its highly anticipated console, and the details about its specifications have been officially revealed through its website.
Although there are some minimal differences in size and weight compared to its predecessor, the most significant change is the battery charging time, which has been reduced to 3.5 hours from the 6 hours of the previous model.
Regarding battery life, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller maintains the same impressive figure of approximately 40 hours of use, making it a strong competitor in the market.

The reduction in loading time, along with battery longevity, promises to provide an uninterrupted gaming experience.
With dimensions of 4.1 x 5.8 x 2.4 inches and a weight of 250 grams, the new controller is slightly thinner and lighter, which could translate into greater comfort during long gaming sessions.
In addition, the joysticks have been improved to be more responsive, a feature that, according to previous tests conducted, has resulted in a more satisfying feeling when playing titles like “Mario Kart World” and “Street Fighter 6”.
The new controller also incorporates Bluetooth (wireless) and USB-C (wired) connectivity, as well as HD Rumble 2, in contrast to the HD Rumble of the previous model.
Nintendo has advised consumers to use the AC adapter of the Nintendo Switch 2 or the included USB-C cable to optimize charging time and avoid issues with third-party accessories that could negatively affect performance.
In summary, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller promises to be a significant improvement over its previous version, enhancing both performance and user experience.
