Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe turned out to be the weakest so far, with movies and series that didn’t succeed even half as much as their predecessors and with several bad reviews that made it clear that Marvel Studios needed an urgent change. However, Deadpool seems to have arrived to fix all that… almost literally.
During this year’s Super Bowl, which has served to present several of the most anticipated releases of 2024, the trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has been unveiled, the official title for the third installment of Deadpool. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, it promises to be a film that makes up for several previous flops, and its trailer makes it clear that it’s going all out.
Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine
With direct nods to Disney and other superheroes from the MCU, the third installment of Deadpool will not hold back when it comes to addressing all the previous criticisms of Marvel Studios. Furthermore, with Jackman returning as Wolverine after Logan, it is clear that this is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It arrives in theaters on July 26th.
