The Mandalorian: Season 3 Premieres On Disney+

Considered one of the best productions in recent years, The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ this March 1 with the premiere of its third season. And it is that without a doubt, the story of Din Djarin and his paternal relationship with Baby Yoda/The Child/Grogu has become one of the greatest successes of the Star Wars saga.

The season finale of “Bobba Fet’s book” left us very excited for the reunion of Din Djarín, played again by one of the actors of the moment, the Chilean Pedro Pascal, and his little companion Grogu. The solitary bounty hunter seems to have left this facet behind and now it seems that he prefers to make his intergalactic trips with his inseparable companion.

We remember that in the end of the 2nd season they separated after Luke Skywalker accepted Baby Yoda as his young Padawan. If you do not remember these events, we remind you that you have all the series of the Star Wars saga on Disney+.

Both will get involved in new and dangerous threats, although they will also come across issues that already seemed closed. From what little we have been able to see in the trailer, it seems that both will return to Mandalore with the goal of getting forgiveness for their past transgressions and getting back on the right path. Meanwhile, the New Republic will continue to fight to prevent darkness from taking over the world.

The new season of The Mandalorian will have a total of 8 episodes that will be released weekly. If everything goes as it should, the last episode of the season will premiere on April 19.

The Most Watched Trailer of the Star Wars Saga on Disney Plus

The Mandalorian is undoubtedly one of the most successful series in recent years, as it once again demonstrated during the premiere of the third season preview. This premiered on January 16 during the break of the NFL Super Wild Card between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, broadcast simultaneously on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.

During the first 24 hours online, the trailer accumulated a total of 835 million views, which according to Disney has become the all-time record for a Star Wars series on Disney+. These figures topple the previous record, a trailer for the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which accumulated 58 million views in 24 hours.

Without a doubt, there is a great desire to know the new adventures of The Mandalorian and Grogu, which in recent times has become an icon of popular culture. The expectation is high considering that the last chapter of the 2nd season premiered more than 2 years ago, specifically on December 20, 2020.

Cast and Direction of Star War’s Season 3: The Mandalorian

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the eight-episode third season include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jon Favreau reprises the controls and the role of showrunner/head writer, also serving as executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers.

If you wanted Star Wars, you don’t need to wait another second. Run to see the first chapter of the third season of The Mandalorian and discover what new adventures await its protagonists. And if you are not yet subscribed to Disney+, remember that you can save more than 15% if you opt for the annual subscription. You will have access to premieres like this and to one of the best streaming catalogs of movies, series and documentaries.
