Zack Snyder is a director, without a doubt, quite peculiar. Although he emerged as one of the most interesting voices of the new Hollywood in the 2000s thanks to Dawn of the Dead and 300, as he progressed in his career his image became clouded… and with the DC movies he ended up becoming a meme.
This meme, however, gained much more popularity last year when Rebel Moon – Part 1: The A Child of Fire premiered on Netflix, its kind of response to Star Wars, which turned out to be a disaster. Despite Snyder’s claim that many people have watched it, the movie ended up being among the worst of the year… and now its second part is coming. This is its new trailer.
Will it improve on the first part?
Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver, as this second part of the movie is titled, will premiere on April 19th on Netflix. From the trailer, it seems that at least we will have some more excitement than in the previous movie, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be better. Let Snyder catch us unawares.
