As anticipation grows around the Nintendo Switch 2, it is confirmed that the platform will be a new home for video games from major publishers, such as Ubisoft, which previously could not be released on the original console due to technical limitations. This is a significant turn for fans, who will soon be able to enjoy titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and Hogwarts Legacy on the new system, among many others that are on the way.
Ubisoft could go all in with Nintendo Switch 2
Ubisoft has been actively working on ports of several of its standout games for the Nintendo Switch 2. One of the most anticipated announcements is the release of Star Wars Outlaws, scheduled for September 4th. However, the company does not stop there; there have also been leaked hints that Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Rainbow Six Siege, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage could be on the list of future releases for the hybrid console.
Recently, Ubisoft Brazil caused a stir on social media by asking its followers which games they would like to see on the Switch 2, including direct mentions of Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Although there are no official confirmations regarding this, these games seem to be ready to make the leap to the new platform in the near future.
The Nintendo Switch 2 seems to have the capability to support demanding multiplayer games, which opens the door to the possibility of receiving traditional industry titles like Call of Duty. Rumors have emerged about the arrival of this popular shooter on the new console, especially after the announcement of the agreement between Microsoft and Nintendo, which could facilitate the incorporation of new titles from Activision Blizzard on the platform.
With the stage set for a robust library of games, Nintendo Switch 2 promises to deliver an enriching experience for players, marking a new era in the history of Nintendo consoles.
